Control Coming to Xbox Game Pass PC in a Few Days
Starting on January 22, Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC will be able to play the shooter Control, developed by Remedy Entertainment.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Control will hit Xbox Game Pass PC on January 22;
- Remedy Entertainment's game will debut on the PC version of the subscription a month and a half after its console release.
Microsoft has announced that the latest shooter from Remedy Entertainment, Control , will debut on the PC version of its Xbox Game Pass subscription on January 22.
Subscribers of the console edition of Game Pass can play Control since December 3 last year. PC owners had to wait over a month and a half longer for this pleasure. Despite everything, it's worth it, because it's a very successful title, although due to the unusual atmosphere it probably won't appeal to all players (but fans of The X-Files and David Lynch's works should feel right at home).
Finally, it's worth noting that the console edition of Control available on Xbox Game Pass lacks DLCs - if we want to play everything the game has to offer, we have to buy the extras in Microsoft's store (the season pass costs $13.49, but we also have the option to buy both expansions separately - then you have to pay $8.99 for each, and all the prices quoted include a discount for Game Pass subscribers). The price on PC is expected to be the same.
