Many things can go wrong when developers are relying solely on big, well-known franchises. Everything shows that NetEase have done their homework and Marvel Rivals is doing marvelous. The game is not free (it actually is, when it comes to its price) of problems, as numerous fans are experiencing issues with DirectX 12 not being supported, loading screen being stuck at 99%, unpleasantly flickering menu, black screen, or performance consisting of stutters, crashes, lags, and freezes. However, there is one type of problem not mentioned by us previously – connection issues. Unfortunately, this one is also plaguing some players, and in our article, we will try to analyze what is going on.

Connection issues in Marvel Rivals

Considering that competitive, online games must have top-notch netcode that will allow for fair and square rivalry, connection issues kicking out combatants randomly is not a great sign. It appears, though that Marvel Rivals is struggling with this problem, as reported by many fans over different discussion boards.

It is all the more disturbing, there are reports stating that connectivity was posing challenges since the beta tests. Of course, the matter of being kicked can be on the players’ side, however many of them claim that they have a stable internet connection that is working flawlessly in other games. With multiple voices like that, it’s hard to believe every single one of those people has a faulty router. This can be especially frustrating as being kicked can result in a timeout that won’t let you play for an hour.

Sadly, as of now, there is no official solution for this. We can only hope that at one-point NetEase will look into this problem. To expediate the resolution, you can contact the developers on their official website or add your message on Marvel Rivals’ discord server. Good luck!
