Conan Unconquered - Rushed Release Date and Hardware Requirements
Petroglyph, the developers of the RTS Conan Unconquered, and Funcom announced a new release date for the title, moved by one day. We also got to know the official hardware requirements of the game.
It is rare for game developers to speed up the release of their titles. However, this was the case with the upcoming RTS Conan Unconquered, which, contrary to earlier plans, will be available for sale on PCs a day before it was announced, i.e. on May 29. In the official press release accompanying this announcement, the creators boasted a warm reception of the game by critics, and also announced that its full version will contain an unannounced dynamic system of day and night. They also provided system requirements, which due to the nature of the production and its graphic design, should appeal to owners of weaker PCs and laptops.
Minimum hardware requirements
- OS: Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit)
- CPU: Core i3 (dual core) 3Ghz or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- GPU: an integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 or other DirectX 11 compatible graphics card with at least 1GB of RAM
- HDD: 10 GB of free disk space
Recommended hardware requirements
- OS: Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit)
- CPU: Intel Core i5 (quad core) 3Ghz or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 or AMD RX580
- HDD: 10 GB of free disk space
Conan Unconquered will only be released on PCs. The title is available in pre-orders on Steam, in two different versions. The standard edition costs $29.99, while the enriched with additional content Deluxe Edition can be bought for $39.99.
Conan Unconquered is an unusual real-time strategy in which we can play alone or with a companion. The game consists in repelling successive attacks of increasingly dangerous and numerous units and groups of opponents. The number and composition of units depends on the individual settings of the game session. What is important, each time we fight on a new, randomly generated map. The production is also diversified by the system of random events, so we have to deal with unexpected sandstorms.
