Company of Heroes Collection Coming Soon to Nintendo Switch
Company of Heroes Collection, a collection featuring the first part of the classic RTS series along with DLCs, is heading to Nintendo Switch.
Feral Interactive, a studio specializing in game ports announced that Company of Heroes Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch.
- The set will include the first part of the series in the form of 2006's Company of Heroes along with both expansions, namely Opposing Fronts (2007) and Tales of Valor (2009).
- The release of the Nintendo Switch version is planned for this year.
- The devs promise that Company of Heroes Collection has been properly adapted for play on Nintendo Switch: the game's interface was to be extensively overhauled and optimized for both TV and portable experience.
- The game will offer all three campaigns known from the PC version, consisting of a total of 41 missions. We will also receive standalone skirmishes.
Company of Heroes Collection should prove to be an item worthy of attention for Nintendo Switch owners. Despite its age, this classic strategy game from Relic Entertainment has not aged much and still manages to deliver excellent fun. This is well illustrated by the fact that yesterday, at the hottest time of the day CoH was played by nearly 1,400 concurrent Steam users.
On top of that, we are unlikely to have to worry about the quality of the port, as Feral Interactive recently developed the warmly received port of Alien: Isolation for Nintendo Switch.
