The cult 4X strategy series will get a new installment. This isn't a surprise after today's reports; Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is one of the titles showcased during the opening ceremony of the Summer Game Fest 2024 event.

Firaxis Games studio and 2K Games company presented the first trailer of the freshly announced game during the event hosted by Geoff Keighley. Unfortunately, it's just a teaser trailer. We still have to wait for the full presentation, but it has been confirmed that we will learn more about the game this summer.

You can watch the teaser below.

Like the previous installments of this legendary series, the seventh Civilization will allow us to lead one of many nations, leading it to greatness over the millennia. Of course, the devs are preparing some changes compared to the otherwise very successful sixth part, which was released almost 8 years ago.

Sid Meier's Civilization VII will be released in 2025 on PC. We'll know more about the strategy by the time it's released, but for now, we'll have to be patient.
