Rumor: Call of Duty: Vanguard to be Announced Next Week
According to rumors, the latest installment of the Call of Duty series, which is to be subtitled Vanguard, will be unveiled on August 19. This will most likely take place during a special Call of Duty: Warzone event.
For the past few weeks we have been writing about the rumors surrounding the upcoming official announcement of the newest installment in the Call of Duty series, which is supposedly titled Vanguard. According to leaks, the developers from Sledgehammer Games had considerable problems while working on the title, which was described by an anonymous tipster as a "total disaster", which resulted in postponing of its first presentation. According to the latest rumors, the developers have scheduled a special event for August 19, which is to be related to Call of Duty: Vanguard. For now, only a select group of people supposedly know about it. This information was confirmed on Twitter by Tom Henderson, a journalist for DualShockers, to which we referred several times in this matter, but he removed that entry after the intervention of the publisher, Activision.
The nature of the said event is not entirely clear. If Call of Duty: Vanguard is to debut, according to tradition, in November, the developers can not delay the official announcement much longer. Theoretically, by the end of the month we should see a trailer and learn the most important information about the game, the action of which is to take place during World War II. According to rumors, Activision will take example from Fortnite and Vanguard will be announced in Call of Duty: Warzone during a special event; we wrote about this earlier this month.
