Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Finally Takes Action Outside Konoha. Chapter 16 Brings Legendary Team-up, Echoing Naruto: Shippuden
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will take us outside the Village hidden in the leaves. The change of environment is sure to please fans who were tired of everything happening only within the walls of Konoha.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is slowly gaining momentum. After an action-packed start to the new manga, the situation calmed down and there were a few dialogue-heavy chapters, but it seems that the story will soon pick up pace again. And it slowly begins to resemble the beginnings of Naruto: Shippuden.
The previous chapter largely focused on Boruto's conversation with Kawaki and the Shinju, but the teaser for chapter 16 of Boruto: TBV indicates that the attention will now be redirected to a completely different location. The action will finally move beyond Konoha and take us to the Land of Wind, where Sunagakure is. Ever since we found out that Shinki shared Sasuke's fate, it was clear that the ninja from that village would soon play a big role. It turns out that they are supposed to appear in the upcoming chapter.
In the Land of Wind, Konohamaru was welcomed by Yodo and Araya. According to the conversation between the characters, a reliable Konoha ninja was dispatched to assist a close ally of this village. Most likely, the goal is to solve the latest problems of Sunagakure.
In the near future, we can expect a close cooperation between Konoha and Sunagakure, just like at the beginning of Naruto: Shippuden. This time however it wasn't only Gaara who found himself in trouble, but also his adopted son Shinki. The upcoming plot in the manga will probably focus on saving both of them and finding a way to release the growing number of people sealed in the trees. It seems that Shinju is interested in gathering strong allies.
