Borderlands 4 Announced. Gearbox Will Try to Wash away the Stain After the Brand’s Disastrous Debut in Theaters
Gearbox Software studio has officially announced Borderlands 4. The new installment of the iconic shooter series is scheduled for 2025.
We've had plenty of rumors already, but finally there's official confirmation. Gearbox Software surprised fans and announced a new installment of the popular shooter series during the gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live show – Borderlands 4. The first trailer of the game has also been released, which you can watch below.
In Borderlands 4, we will play as a legendary Vault Hunter, and our task will be to find a mysterious alien treasure. The above material provides a first look at a new planet for the series.
Previous installments of the series, which largely contributed to the creation of the looter shooter genre, became famous for the vast amount of action and characteristic humor. The fourth main game will be no different, which will provide even more of what its predecessors are praised for. Fans of the series should feel right at home.
Borderlands 4 is coming to PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The game is planned for 2025.
