The opening ceremony of this year's edition of BlizzCon resulted in the announcement of Overwatch 2, a sequel to the online FPS online shooter released in 2016. Therefore, a cinematic and a gameplay trailer were published.

The video presented at the very beginning revealed the plot of the first installment. Then the story that will be the theme of Overwatch 2 was shown. Both trailers form a whole. It also shows that in the second installment of the series, the game's well-known heroes will return.

The second trailer presents some gameplay. Among the biggest novelties that were shown here are the co-operative story missions, the introduction of a character development system and the implementation of a new PvP mode called Push.

It is also worth noting that Overwatch 2 will share servers with its predecessor. This means that players in both parts will be able to fight side by side, including new maps from the sequel. All the achievements and cosmetic items that the players have gained in Overwatch will also be transferred.
