Pax Dei, a project for which one of the devs of the popular EVE Online is responsible looks very intriguing. The game is designed to rely entirely on the players' involvement, with no independent characters or storyline in the fantasy MMORPG world. Soon, more people will be able to try Pax Dei, because after alpha testing, the game will enter the early access phase.

Early access will begin on June 18, and the full version release will happen within a year. The devs emphasize that in order for the game to continue to develop, it's necessary to make it available to a larger part of the community, observe the actions of its members and collect opinions, as this is the whole premise of this project.

Below you will see the latest material from Pax Dei containing many gameplay fragments. Developers explain that the game includes three elements: gathering resources, constructing, exploring the world (including hazardous areas), and a community-based system.

To play the early version of Pax Dei, you must buy the Founder's Pack on Steam or directly from the game's website (in the second case, you will download the game from a special launcher). The least expensive Pack is priced at €39.99 and besides providing access to the game itself, it includes:

  1. one plot of land, on which we will build our own estate;
  2. possibility of creating two characters;
  3. unique outfit and role on the Pax Dei server on Discord.

More expensive variants offer additional cosmetic items, more plots of land and "slots" for characters. The devs underline that during the early access, they will provide several significant updates that may reset some or all of the progress made by players, including gathered materials, acquired skills, or constructed buildings.
