Battlefield 2042 Will Use Nvidia's DLSS and Reflex

Battlefield 2042 will support features provided by Nvidia. Thanks to the use of DLSS and Reflex, the game will offer more fps and lower latency.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • Battlefield 2042 will receive Nvidia DLSS and Reflex support;
  • This will enable us to get more fps and reduced latency;
  • The game's official partners have also been named.

EA and DICE have announced that Nvidia will be their official partner for Battlefield 2042. In addition to the purely marketing aspects of the agreement, it also translates into a benefit for players. The latest installment of the popular shooter will use Nvidia DLSS and Nvidia Reflex technologies. The owners of GPUs from the American company can expect improvements that will make the game more enjoyable.

DLSS is a tool that is already familiar to many players due to its presence in an increasing number or titles. It allows for increased number of fps without a large loss in terms of visual quality. Reflex, on the other hand, is a newer and less common feature. It focuses on synchronizing the GPU and CPU, which reduces system latency. This is particularly important in the case of multiplayer games, where the response time often determines our success or failure.

EA and DICE have also announced cooperation with other companies. Official partners of Battlefield 2042 will also include the Xbox Series S/X console, Logitech, WD_Black and Polaris drives. While most of this information will not affect gamers in any way, the exception may be the last of the aforementioned entities. It is the quads of this manufacturer, such as Polaris Sportsman ATV, will appear in the new installment of the popular FPS.
