Bannerlord Will Get Emotes; Devs Boast of Latest Changes
Developers from TaleWorld summarized the changes in interface and multiplayer mode that Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord got or is about to get.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- M&B2 devs have described a number of changes that have taken place or are about to take place in the game;
- These include a clan system, player reporting, emotes, new maps and changes in the game balance.
The creators of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord have shared some new info about the latest changes in the game, as well as the changes that are planned in the near future. The changes mainly concern the user interface and multiplayer mode. They are also summarized in the video you will find below.
One of the novelties is the changed conversation screen - thanks to it, the whole scene will not need to be loaded to initiate the dialogue, which will enable it to start much faster. Players will also receive a completely different way of communicating - emotes, which can be used to respond to the actions of our troops.
The note also mentions the mechanics that will enable a team of players to form a clan - they will be visible in a special tab in the lobby (apart from the clan's name we also choose the faction to which it belongs, a tag and a sigil). The solution will use the Bannerlord ID system, which will enable us to choose a unique user name, regardless of the platform on which we have the game (Bannerlord is available on Steam and Epic Games Store),
The note also describes new maps for Skirmish mode, changes in the Siege mode, game balance fixes in combat and a system for reporting problematic players. It is worth noting that some of the changes can already be tested by installing the e1.4.3 beta patch.
