Warhammer The Old World Mod for Bannerlord Looks Impressive
For several months now a certain mod for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has been in development, which will take players to the world of Warhammer Fantasy, known for its popular wargame and tabletop RPG. Recently the creators of the project shared some new information on the progress.

- It will move the players to the world of Warhammer Fantasy, known for example from the battle game and tabletop RPG;
- The creators have recently boasted about the progress on the project and published a number of screenshots, showing what they have already managed to prepare.
Warhammer Fantasy is close to the hearts of many fantasy fans around the world. Both the battle game and tabletop RPG, as well as other games belonging to various media set in this universe are still quite popular. Some members of the fan community show their attachment to the franchise by developing mods for various games. One of them, titled The Old World, is being created since mid-last year and is intended for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.
According to the authors' promises, The Old World project will provide the "best possible experience" of the dark Warhammer Fantasy universe. The players will be able to travel the entire Old World (a continent modeled on late medieval Europe), visit more or less famous cities and villages scattered around the realm, recruit warriors from various factions, meet iconic heroes such as Emperor Karl Franz and, of course, have exciting large-scale battles.
Recently, the devs at The Old World Modteam showed off the progress on their project. They published a number of screenshots, on which we can see the appearance of the imperial and vampire settlements, map design and enemies or models of powerful two-handed swords. At the moment it is unknown when The Old World mod will have its launch. However, the creators informed that it will be released in batches. In the first one, we will get mperium and vampires from Sylvania. Later dwarves and orcs, among others, are to appear.

What's interesting, The Old World is not the only project for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord set in the Warhammer universe. Earlier there was Hemmerlord, the work on which, however, was canceled.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is currently available in early access only on PC.
