Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden From Vampyr and Life is Strange Devs Announced
A trailer for a new game from the creators of such titles as Vampyr and Life is Strange - Banishers: Ghost of New Eden - was revealed at The Game Awards 2022.
At this year's The Game Awards, a number of new games were announced for release in the coming years.
One of them is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden - an action RPG being developed by Don't Nod, whose portfolio includes such titles as Vampyr or the Life is Strange series.
Ghost hunters on the trail
The plot of Banishers: Ghost of New Eden will focus on a pair of ghost hunters who operate across North America in a fictional place called New Eden. Their task is to scour the wilderness in search of souls who do not want to part from this world. The action of the game takes place in 1695.
It is worth mentioning that the main characters are not only co-workers - they are connected by a love relationship. Below you can see the trailer presented at The Game Awards 2022.
As befits a game from Don't Nod, we can expect that there will be no shortage of difficult moral choices we will have to make in the story. They are expected to significantly affect our experience.
Exact release date of Banishers: Ghost of New Eden is not yet known. It was only announced that the game will be released at the end of 2023 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
