Don't be Scared if You Hear Lady Dimitrescu in Baldur's Gate 3
Larian has confirmed that the voice actress, who has won multiple awards as Lady Dimitrescu, will play the role of the antagonist in Baldur's Gate 3.
Representatives of Larian confirmed in a conversation with a journalist of Eurogamer that Baldur's Gate 3 will feature the voice of Maggie Robertson, i.e. the actress who lent her voice to the iconic vampiress from Resident Evil Village - Lady Dimitrescu.
Interestingly, in the latest Gates of Baldur Robertson will once again play the role of a villain,who will want to thwart the heroic plans of the players.
Another iconic role coming?
In Baldur's Gate 3 Maggie Robertson is to voice the character of a shape-shifting murderess known more widely as Orin the Red. Her goal will be to "bathe Baldur's Gate in blood."
- Orin - alongside Lord Enver Gortash and General Ketheric Thorm - is to be one of the main antagonists of the game.
- The voluptuous yet sadistic Orin is to work for the "higher powers" that the players will face.
- The shapeshifting murderess in her proper form will be distinguished by her white eyes, flaming outfit and numerous smoky patterns on her skin.
- Players will encounter her later in the game.
As assured by Eurogamer's Robert Purchese, who had the opportunity to see Orin in action, the (anti)heroine played by the American actress will certainly be memorable for the fans.
"Based on what I have seen, I am convinced that Orin will become one of the most memorable characters in the game."
It is worth noting that in addition to Maggie Robertson in the cast of the third part of Gates of Baldur includes such actors as Jason Isaacs - known, for example, for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies - and Jonathan Kimble Simmons, who starred in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man productions.

Let me remind you that Baldur's Gate 3 will debut on August 3 on PC and September 6 on PlayStation 5. At a later - yet undisclosed - date the game is expected to hit also the Xbox Series X/S console.
