The final countdown to the PC release of Baldur's Gate 3 is underway - in the eyes of many a surefire candidate for game of the year. Many of you are probably already rubbing your hands together at the thought of immersing yourselves in the rich RPG world created by Larian Studios.
For those who already want some guidance on how to build your character, a special fan-made build calculator was prepared, with the help of which you will be able to determine how profitable it is to progress your elf, half elf, halfling or drow.
Build calculator in Baldur's Gate 3 - how to use it?
Of course, to begin with, we need to properly introduce our character. After selecting one of the eleven available races (and several subtypes for each), we can move on.
The calculator then takes us through a series of steps in which we specify our character, similar to the character creator - we specify their background, define class and subclass, use the available skill points, etc.
Each of our choices is accompanied by an appropriate commentary on what each choice means in controlling the character. For example, my mountain dwarf is a Ranger, whose favorite enemy is Bounty Hunters (which will provide a bonus).
My ability as a Natural Explorer is Beast tamer, which provides another bonus. You'll find examples of what class and subclasses combine best here:
Finally, we get a summary of our character with skill points, traits and skills to develop.
You can try the calculator for yourself at this link. It will certainly come in handy before the release, to which there are only 3 days left, as far as the PC version is concerned. PS5 owners will have to wait a little longer for Larian Studios' work - until September 6.
