Babylon's Fall Devs Intend to Fight Until the End
Babylon's Fall's player base is virtually non-existent, but devs at PlatinumGames promises changes. In addition, the developer has almost completed the content of the second season. Will this be enough to save the game?
Despite Babylon's Fall turning out to be a flop, neither PlatinumGames nor Square Enix have any intention of abandoning the game. What's more, the content of the second season of online gameplay is almost complete and work has already begun on season three and beyond.
Fight to the end
We learned this from the announcement of the developer, posted last Friday on Twitter. The overarching goal seems to be the comprehensive repair of the game - further changes are to be implemented based on player feedback. As long as there are any left, one would like to add. Over the past 24 hours Babylon's Fall was being played by up to 315 concurrent users on Steam.
Updates and events
The developers want to make sure that this remaining handful doesn't abandon the game, and in time - perhaps - regain some customers. For a good start they want to release an update, which will add, among others, a new chapter, map, faction, weapon type and Gauntlet mode, as well as increase the current level cap. The patch is due out tomorrow (you can find more details about it here). Next week's schedule includes game event from NieR: Automata.
