Assetto Corsa Competizione Coming to Consoles
The racing simulator Assetto Corsa Competizione, which made its PC debut last year, will be released at the end of June on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. With the launch of console ports, the developers also plan to release new DLC sets for all supported platforms.
Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games have announced that the racing simulation Assetto Corsa Competizione will launch on June 23 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title will be available for a suggested price of 34.99 pounds. The players will be able to choose between the digital and boxed version of the game. By submitting a pre-order fans will receive a DLC, Intercontinental GT Pack, at no additional cost, which will also be available for purchase separately after the release. It consists of four authentic tracks from Japan, South Africa, the USA, and Australia, as well as 45 new car body paintjobs, 30 teams, and 50 drivers.
The original release of Assetto Corsa Competizione took place on PC in May 2019, after several months in Early Access on Steam. Despite the release on consoles, developers have no intention of abandoning their most faithful fans. That's why they have announced further additions and updates that will see the light of day on all hardware platforms supported by the title.
Assetto Corsa Competizione roadmap for this year:
- Assetto Corsa Competizione v1.4 - a free PC game update introducing new options, including a car showroom, a new driver editor, as well as additional options for multiplayer servers and user interface patches. Launches in April.
