The ninth full-fledged installment of Assassin's Creed turned eight years old this year. If you haven't had a chance to get to know the adventures of the Frye twins so far, now you can catch up with their story. This is because Ubisoft is giving away AC: Syndicate's PC version. You can pick up the game at no charge until December 6.

To get the game, click on the link below, which will take you to the relevant page. After logging into your Ubisoft account, the game will be added to your profile. You can also pick up Assassin's Creed: Syndicate directly from the Ubisoft Connect app.

It should be noted that the basic version of the game is being given away. There are also several paid DLCs for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, including three story-based ones containing new missions: Jack the Ripper, The Last Maharaja and The Dreadful Crimes. Each of these expansions can now be purchased at a discounted price from Ubisoft Store.

Action of Syndicate is set in 19th-century London, where exploitation of workers due to the Industrial Revolution reaches its peak. The main characters are two assassins - the impulsive Jacob Frye, who seeks to cause an uprising, and his more level-headed twin sister, Evie. You can switch freely between the two characters (unlike in AC: Odyssey, where the choice of the protagonist is permanent) - the siblings differ mainly in their skills.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is the last, before Origins, installment of the series (not including Mirage) following the old formula, without numerous RPG elements. The game is a parkour-oriented open-world stealth game, which features a new gadget that drastically changes the mechanics of climbing buildings, namely the anchor, as well as the ability to lead your own gang or run horse-drawn stagecoaches.
