The launch of Assassin's Creed: Shadows in February seems to be confirmed. According to journalist Tom Henderson, Ubisoft has scheduled a presentation of the new Assassin for the press and influencers in mid-January 2025.

The well-known insider wrote about it in a post published on X, and in response to a question from one of the users, he specified that representatives of the industry media will get a chance to check out the game "in the week of 13th."

He isn't sure when journalists will be able to share their impressions of the "Japanese" Assassin's Creed, i.e., when the embargo on publishing information and materials from the show will be lifted. However, according to Henderson, the publisher's desire to showcase their title in action about a month before the launch indicates that the February release date is definite.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows was originally scheduled to debut in the first half of November 2024. However, shortly before the launch, the developers moved the release date to February 14, 2025. The game is coming to PC, PS5, and XSX/S.
