Ubisoft has finally presented the next installment of its iconic series about hooded assassins. Assassin's Creed: Mirage is expected to be a return to the roots of the series launched in 2007.

This time we will get to know better the story of Basim, a character you surely remember from AC: Valhalla. However, the main character is not the only change in the game - the developers will take us from northern Europe to sunny Baghdad, and the gameplay will once again emphasize stealth elements, at the expense of RPG mechanics.

In addition to the phenomenal trailer (you can watch it below), Ubisoft has given us equally interesting screenshots from the game. Thanks to them, we get a better idea of what we can expect in Assassin's Creed: Mirage.

Finally, let us remind you that the game will debut in 2023, but no specific release date was provided. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles, as well as on Amazon's Luna streaming service.

For those who have not yet seen yesterday's trailer of Assassin's Creed: Mirage, we provide the video below.
