F2P Assassin's Creed: Jade on First Gameplay
During the Ubisoft Forward event, Assassin's Creed: Codename Jade was unveiled, a mobile version of one of the publisher's most popular brands.
The Ubisoft Forward event showcased Assassin's Creed: Codename Jade, the new mobile installment of the publisher's most popular brand.
- The released footage from the game includes the first fragments of gameplay.
- We can see, among other things, parkour and several combat sequences.
- Also shown is the oriental open world, which we will come to explore during the game.
The game is being developed jointly by Ubisoft and Level Infinite. It is a free-to-play game, which is heading for iOS and Android mobile devices.. The project is being powered by Unreal Engine.
The action will take place in the year 215 BC, between the events of Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Origins. The game will take us to the era of the first unified empire of the Qin Dynasty in China. Players will take on the role of a character named Xia, who is the foster child of master Wei Yu. It is worth mentioning that Assassin's Creed: Codename Jade will be the first game in the series to introduce the ability to create your own character.
The developers have announced that a new phase of closed tests will be organized soon. More details on the subject are expected to be revealed soon.
