Assassin's Creed Infinity Won't be an F2P Game

The upcoming Assassin's Creed will not be a free-to-play game. Such information was revealed during the recent investor call.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • During a recent investor call, Ubisoft revealed more information about Assassin's Creed Infinity;
  • The game will not be a free-to-play title;
  • It will contain many elements present in previous installments.

Back in May this year, Ubisoft executives announced that the company would create more free-to-play games in the future. What's more, they were to belong to the publisher's biggest brands. Subsequent information on the live-service game Assassin's Creed Infinity being in production fit this scenario. However, the situation has changed and the title will not be free.

This information was revealed by Yves Guillemot during an investor call. Ubisoft's boss confirmed that the upcoming game will not use the free-to-play model. Guillemot also announced that Assassin's Creed Infinity is supposed to be a huge project, which will include all the most important elements present in previous installments. It will be the perfect title for veterans of the series.

Unfortunately, this is almost everything we know about the upcoming game. For further information will be revealed at a later date. During the conference it was revealed that Infinity is at a very early stage of development. At the same time the company is busy creating more DLCs for Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, which will be supported for at least two years. Fans of the series can only arm themselves with patience.
