Assassin's Creed Easter Eggs in Watch Dogs Legion
The action of the third instalment of Watch Dogs will take place in London. Ubisoft has decided to take advantage of this fact and wink at Assassin's Creed fans.
Ubisoft has always liked to hide small surprises for fans in its games. This time easter eggs were discovered long before the game came out. If we follow the story of Ubisoft's assassin franchise, we know that Assassin's Creed: Syndicate took place in London during the Victorian era and enabled us to control the actions of twins, Jacob and Evie Frye. As part of special missions during World War II we could also learn about the fate of Jacob's granddaughter. Will Watch Dogs Legion reveal the fates f next generation of London assassins?
Jacob Frye's descendants in Watch Dogs Legion. A coincidence?
An entry published on Twitter suggests that Jacob Frye existed in the world of DedSec. Shown on the graphic, Sandra Cassidy, one of the agents, searched the DedSec database for "Jacob Frye's descendants", which, as we know, was the hero of London-based AC game. What is more, she uses the Desert Eagle pistol, which may also be a reference to the series. Nothing here is certain, but fans are already speculating about being able to play as assassins.
I leap, therefore I am
There was also a short video, showing a character jumping from height. The characteristic "leap of faith" is accompanied by eagle's cry. Admittedly, no haystacks appeared, but who knows what we will see in the final version of the game.
