Yesterday marked the launch of the Steam Next Fest, during which you can test a wide variety of demos. Among them you will find the network action game Warhaven. If you've been tempted by the title, you've probably noticed that it lacks ranged units such as archers. In this guide you will find out what happened to the Arch class and whether it will return to the game.
In the early stages of development of Warhaven you could find the aforementioned Arch class. It specialized in long-range clashes using bows. However, if it came to close combat, the character became practically defenseless.
This class met with a very mixed reception from the players. Some people considered it the most balanced in Warhaven. However, in order to find yourself well in this role, you had to spend some time learning how to play it properly. On the other hand, there were voices that it is a completely useless character and does not even perform well in its primary purpose - ranged combat.
In the end, the developers decided to redesign this character class. This was confirmed by the Community Menager of Nexon on the official Discord channel of the game. However, it is unknown how long this will take and when Arch will return to the game.
At this point, there are virtually no ranged units in the game. Only Raven, which is one of the available Immortals, has attacks that can deal damage from a greater distance. However, this is only a temporary transformation for the character, so the possibilities of using it are limited.
