Another Indication That Dragon Age 4 Will Come Out in 2024

Dragon Age 4 may actually launch in 2024, if one of the game's developers is to be believed.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf may hit the market in 2024. This is according to information that one of the game's developers posted on his profile on LinkedIn.

Kevin Scott, a senior video animator at Electronic Arts, has worked on, among other the Madden NFL and Need for Speed: Heat series. He recently added another position to his resume: "animating game characters using motion capture and traditional animation techniques for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf", putting a note next to it that the title is scheduled for release in 2024.

Surprisingly, the information has not yet disappeared from the website, as is usually the case with such indiscreet (or careless) developers. Another thing is that it is not a complete secret.

In May, Electronic Arts did not mention Dreadwolf in the list of games scheduled for fiscal 2024, which ends on March 31, 2024. Nor does anything herald the imminent presentation of the new Dragon Age this month or in December (let alone its release). Rumors of a debut next year - in the summer at the earliest - have been mentioned by journalist Jeff Grubb recently as well.

It also falls to recall the layoffs at BioWare. Admittedly, it was assured that they will not affect work on the studio's projects (except for Dreadwolf, the team is also making the fifth Mass Effect), but one can have doubts about these assurances. Especially when this "reduction" has brought the company a lawsuit by former employees.

Against this backdrop, one would have to rejoice if the debut of the new DA will actually take place "already" in 2024.
