Among Us Update Introduces 3 Important Changes
A beta version of new patch for Among Us is now available on PC. It introduces a lot of novelties, including the option of anonymous voting, the possibility of hiding the taskbar and a mode for colorblind.
Public tests of the new update for Among Us have started . For the time being, it has only been released on PC and can be tested by people who have set up access to beta-version patches on Steam. Users playing on mobile iOS and Android systems will have to wait for the official release of the patch.
The devs at Innersloth did not provide a list of changes offered by the patch, but the players themselves quickly discovered the most important news. One of them is the ability to enable anonymity during voting. There is also a possibility to change the visibility of the taskbar. By default it is enabled all the time, but now it can also be set up to appear only during players' matches.

The last big novelty that players have discovered is the colorblind mode. This option was something that many people asked for. An interesting graphic was published on Reddit some time ago, which shows how people with different types of color perception disorders see the characters in the game. The picture illustrates how much this mode was needed.
Among Us debuted in 2018, but only recently the popularity of the game exploded. At the end of September, the devs boasted of a new record of activity of 3.8 million users. Every day over 60 million people log in to the game.
The success of the game is so great that the devs abandoned their plans to develop Among Us 2. Everything that the sequel was supposed to offer will be introduced to the first part.
