New World Delayed Once Again; Release in Fall

The release of New World is running away from us again. This time, the team at Amazon Game Studios has decided to dedicate another month to fight bugs and introduce optimization improvements.

Was New World beta the success Amazon has been hoping for for years? Regardless of the assessment, there is no denying that there is still a lot of work ahead of the developers. Apparently, they are aware of this. The team has just announced that the release of New World will be posponed, from August 31 to September 28.

In the entry we read that tAmazon Game Studios is honored by the support of one million players, who since the start of testing have already spent more than 16 million hours in New World. This, of course, translated into a lot of useful feedback, which the developers want to use. Therefore, it was decided to allocate an additional month for optimization patches and ironing out bugs reported by beta-testers.

This is not the first delay of New World, which, by the way, was mentioned in the communiqué. Previously, the launch of the game was delayed three times, the last time in February. Let's hope that this time Amazon will keep its word.
