Ahsoka Star on Unusual Atmosphere on the Set; 'It Was a Very Strange Project'
Rosario Dawson, who plays the role of Ahsoka in the upcoming show, talked about the reasons for the unusual atmosphere on the set.
At the end of August Disney+ will see the debut of a show telling the story of Ahsoka Tano. Because of this, more and more statements from the creators and actors are appearing online. In one of the latest interviews Rosario Dawson, who plays the title character, revealed that there was a strange atmosphere on the set of Ahsoka, and the main rule was 'See nothing, say nothing.'
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter the actress shared some behind-the-scenes trivia about the upcoming Star Wars production. Dawson revealed that the atmosphere on the set was very strange, and despite the fact that she played the lead role, some details of the script were kept from her.
"I also didn't see anything of Ahsoka, but this is not a surprise. As a participant, I can say that it was a very strange project because it was very important. So they said: ''See nothing, say nothing' But Dave remembered that, and the other directors stuck to it."
As we learned from the latest trailers, the show will feature live-action versions of several well-known characters. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Hera Syndulla, who was one of the main protagonists of Star Wars: Rebels. We also know how Sabine Wren, portrayed by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, will look like. Everyone is especially looking forward to the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who will once again shake the entire galaxy. It will be interesting to see how Lars Mikkelsen will perform in this role.
Ahsoka promises to be a spectacular journey into the universe of Star Wars. The project is taking shape behind closed doors, and expectations are growing. In turn, fans can't wait to see what the final result will be.
Premiere of Ahsoka on Disney+ is scheduled for August 23.
