Age of Wonders 4 - essential info
Age of Wonders 4 is another, already the sixth (counting all the spin-offs) installment of the fantasy turn-based 4X strategy game series. The title offers a story campaign, a free mode (i.e. an editor in which we can create our own scenarios) and a multiplayer option. Our task is to build a powerful empire, but before we succeed, we will spend time on exploring the land of Evermore, collecting various resources and waging wars on supernatural creatures (or other players in PvP mode).
The game is the responsibility of the Dutch team at Triumph Studios, which has not only been developing the series since 1999, but also has other well-known titles to its credit, including the Overlord series. The publisher of the game is Paradox Interactive, which has taken the developers under its wing.
