Age of Empires 4's New Official Gameplay Shows Multiplayer

Extensive gameplay footage from Age of Empires 4 has appeared online. It provides a better look at the upcoming game by Relic Entertainment.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  • The official gameplay of Age of Empires 4 is available;
  • The 40-minute video presents multiplayer gameplay;
  • The game's release is scheduled for October 28.

Age of Empires 4's release is fast approaching. No wonder then that the official gameplay showing the multiplayer mode has finally appeared online. The video posted on the series' channel on YouTube enables us to take a closer look at the new installment of the iconic series.

The 40-minute material shows the clash of Rus civilization and the Holy Roman Empire. Until now, the game was heavily criticized by fans. The latest video will probably calm some of them down. Players who couldn't wait for the return to the classic gameplay, where we focus on the development of our civilization from hunting wild animals to building fortresses, should be satisfied.

The published video features all the elements known from the previous installments. Once again, we'll collect sheep scattered around the map, tactically place the sawmills and mines, and at the end we'll throw the troops at the enemy. And all this accompanied by the relaxing sounds of buildings being erected and chopping wood.

We will be able to do it ourselves on October 28. There's a little over a month left to the game's release. It's worth remembering that on the release day the game will also be available in Xbox Game Pass.
