New gameplay from Assassin's Creed Shadows has leaked. This is the outcome of the Chinese branch of IGN's indiscretion, which published a new Ubisoft developer diary dedicated to the next installment of the Assassin's series prematurely.

Of course, the post was deleted, but – as always – internet users managed to download and spread the video online (via Insider-Gaming).

The new, still unreleased developer diary focuses on the game world, showing the dynamic weather systems and seasons, their impact on gameplay, and – of course – the visuals of the new Assassin's Creed. Short clips from the motion capture sessions used in the creation of cutscenes were also shown, including capturing the actors' faces.

However, in a separate article (via Games Radar), Thierry Dansereau, art director of AC: Shadows, emphasized that Ubisoft didn't want the season changes "to be something that could be perceived as very negative or have a negative impact on how you play." This suggests that although weather changes associated with seasons may open new paths, there is no need to worry that rain or snow will hinder escape or climbing.

The material also shows a hideout, which can be expanded during the game. Players will be able to build armories, dojos, and other buildings, also choosing their appearance and - in the case of armories - equipment for display.

Assassin's Creed: Shadows will be released on November 15 for PC, XSX/S, and PS5.
