Abandoned Devs Deny Rumors of Game's Cancellation
Blue Box Game Studio has addressed the recent commotion related to the removal of a large number of posts related to their upcoming game - Abandoned - from Twitter. According to their assurances, work on the title is progressing.
Yesterday saw a small commotion related toAbandoned (not the first such instance by the way). It was noticed that representatives of Blue Box Game have deleted a lot of older posts about the game from Twitter. As a result, speculations arose that the game will never see the light of day and is just a "hoax". Representatives of the team have decided to address these revelations.
Abandoned not abandoned
The official Twitter account of Blue Box Game, posted a special message. The studio emphasizes in it that all rumors about the dcancelation of Abandoned are completely false. The developers are still planning a big presentation of the title, part of which is to be the release of Prologue, planned to be a playable demo. Unfortunately, the work is taking longer than expected and the demo will not debut in the first quarter of 2022, as originally planned, but at a later date.
In addition, the creators apologized for all the confusion and indicated that they understand all the frustration of players. As soon as they are ready to provide further information, they will do so immediately. The full statement can be found below.
