'99% Crashes So Far Are Old Drivers.' Manor Lords Dev Highlights Root of Players' Problems
Players are complaining about the problems occurring in the Manor Lords strategy game. The developers point out the causes of the troubles and offer solutions.
Manor Lords has been entertaining at least tens of thousands of people daily since its premiere on Friday. However, it's not an enjoyable time for everyone - some players are reporting crashes.
Fortunately, the developers know what causes these problems. On the official game account on X, we can find a recipe to solve this issue.
99% crashes so far are old drivers. And when people say "I updated the drivers," I check logs and see old drivers. The other is the game defaulting to FSR and people having older GPUs - for this you need to disable FSR in the settings.ini for now but that will be fixed soon.
It's worth mentioning that this is not the sole matter that Grzegorz Styczen will focus on in the upcoming patches (recently, we got to know the developers' plans for the initial game updates). It is also worth considering installing one of the Manor Lords mods, which slightly improves the game's performance.
Medieval strategy continues to churn out record numbers on Steam. Yesterday, the game had over 170,000 players playing at the same time. By evening, the game had already reached a new "peak," which amounted to 173,178 users of Valve's platform playing simultaneously.
Let us remind you that the game is currently in early access. It can be played on PC via GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam, as well as on PC Game Pass.
