30 FPS in Battlefield 5 on Laptop With Integrated GPU

The Tiger Lake generation processors will have a powerful GPU. The Battlefield V maintains a stable 30 fps in 1080p and high detail, as shown in a recently published video.

Battlefield V runs on a notebook with Intel Xe GPU.
IN A NUTSHELL:
  • An Intel employee published a recording of Battlefield V running in high details on a laptop with Intel Xe graphics;
  • The fairly high performance of Intel Tiger Lake GPUs can allow for comfortable playing of AAA titles.

Ryan Shrout, Intel's chief performance strategist, has released a video of Battlefield V running on a notebook with an Intel Tiger Lake processor with integrated Xe GPU installed. In the corner of his screen you can see the fps counter. It maintains a relatively stable 30 fps on high graphic detail.

We wrote about the performance of the new Tiger Lake CPUs in this news. This is the second generation of Intel APUs based on 10 nm architecture. Their graphic chips have quite good performance (for integrated GPU). Now we can add the published video from the game to the benchmark results. Battlefield V was launched on a slim laptop containing only Intel Xe integrated graphics. It contains 96 executive units, which allowed the game to maintain a stable 30 fps in 1080p resolution and high detail settings.
