27 Minutes of Gameplay From Terminator Resistance
A 27-minute gameplay footage from the upcoming shooter Terminator: Resistance, based on the legendary series of action movies, has been released online. The material includes a presentation of the most important game mechanics, including sneaking, hacking and fighting.
Poland's PGA 2019 is not the only big gaming event that takes place this weekend in Europe. Many developers also attended the London EGX 2019 fair, including representatives of Teyon Games and its publisher, Reef Entertainment. They are responsible for Terminator: Resistance, an RPG shooter based on the legendary action movie series, that will be released on November 15 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. During the event, the devs presented a nearly half-hour-long gameplay fragment containing a sample of all the most important mechanics, most of which were described in our preview from mid-September.
Terminator: Resistance is the prequel of the original film and takes place in an alternative post-apocalyptic vision of the future, in which the world has been taken over by machines. The players take on the role of a resistance member that is making their through the ruined United States. In the video we can see simple stealth mechanics, based on the use of special goggles that enable you to see opponents through obstacles such as walls. The hacking of some machines, such as automatic sentry turrets, will be extremely important for our survival. This activity is presented in the form of an arcade mini-game reminiscent of the classic Frogger. In the twenty-first minute of the material we will also get a glimpse at the equipment and crafting system, as well as the three skill trees of the main character.
