10 Million People Played Apex Legends
Respawn Entertainment has informed that in just three days the online battle royale shooter Apex Legends to gather 10 million users who have played the game.

Apex Legends, the battle royale shooter set in the Titanfall universe, turned out to be a surprising hit. Vince Zampella, the CEO of Respawn Entertainment, the studio responsible for the project, boasted that more than ten million people have already played the title. This impressive result was achieved only three days after the release.
The pace of development of the game is very fast. A few hours was enough for the number of players to reach one million. After 24 hours since the debut this result increased to 2.5 million, and at the hottest moment of the first day the title was played by over 600 thousand people at the same time.
Apex Legends is also very popular on Twitch. The game is currently the most popular title on the site, leaving behind such titles as League of Legends, Dota 2, Hearthstone or Fortnite.
Let’s remind that Apex Legends was released on February 4, this year, simultaneously on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game uses a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
So far, Apex Legends does not support cross-play, but the authors are already working on enabling the users from different platforms to have fun together. There are also plans to move the game to mobile devices with iOS and Android systems.
