Main Objectives: Gain access to the Cartographer.
Optional objectives:
- Destroy Banished vehicle foundry (3).
- Destroy Banished base.
- Destroy the hidden facility (4).
Bonus:
- Kill squads with the taken vehicle (20).
- Destroy vehicles with the Cyclops (20).
- Destroy vehicles with the Hornets (20).
- Use "Archer missile" ability (3).
In this mission you need to take control of three locations to win. However, you will need to get to these transmitters first. You will start with new units - Cyclops. These troops use rifles with armor-piercing ammo. You will find out how powerful they are as soon as you reach the bridge- go ahead and shoot at some lightweight hostile vehicles. You will be presented with an alternative path. Use your Spartan to get to the upper shelf, and use his special ability once again to take control over the hostile tank. Finish off defenders of the bridge, activate the panel and pave the way for your troops. Move forward and set up a base. Upgrade it and make sure that there is a steady flow of resources. Now prepare for an assault. The enemy will send lightweight vehicles and infantry in the future. You can set up an additional base above point A. it will come in handy to maintain control of points A and B, as you will be able to train troops faster. The new ability of your commander will prove to be useful - use it to destroy groups of enemies or during the assault of the enemy base.
Keep in mind that control points can be taken over only by the infantry - Marines, Cyclops, and Heroes. Furthermore, if your enemy takes control over one of these locations, he will generate points as well. Your task is to reach 3000 points, and you need to be the first one to do it. The more locations you control, the faster you will generate the points.
If you want to complete optional objectives, prepare for a challenge. Your first task is to destroy the Banished foundries (not that difficult). These are nothing more but three mini bases that you will come across on your way to the control points. Unfortunately, destroying the main base and the hidden facility is definitely more complicated. The base is located above point B and there are additional hostile units scattered across the area. The very base has a shield generator and 3 upgraded turrets.
You need to strike will all you have got, including the tank you took control of and the "Archer missile". Use the ability in a way that will allow you to fire from the generator to the turrets - this way the majority of enemy component will be damaged. If your troops took too much damage, you should retreat. Heal your units, restore your commander's ability and strike one more time. Remember about the control points - if you take control over them too fast, you won't have enough time to destroy the enemy base. On the other hand, if you focus on the base and do not pay attention to the control points at all, you may lose in the long run.
