Zula is an FPS game designed for multiplayer skirmishes. The game is available in a free free-to-play model and was created by the Turkish studio Madbyte Games.

Mechanics

In Zula the action is shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The authors give players a dozen or so characters at their disposal, and during the game one picks a side among two opposing factions - the titular Zula, which is a civic guard, and Gladyo, a paramilitary group whose influence reaches military organizations from all over the world.

The game consists of bloody clashes with opponents on various maps; the latter include such places as Istanbul, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and northern Iraq. While playing, players make use of an extensive arsenal, which consists of machine guns, sniper rifles, pistols, grenades, shotguns, and knives. The individual guns can be modified by changing their appearance with different skins and enriching them with various additions such as a collimator and silencer.

Game modes

Zula only allows you to play in multiplayer mode. The game has several modes, such as Capture the Flag, Team Deathmatch, Escort (as the name suggests, players' task is to take care of the target moving around the map), and Sabotage (where one has to blow up the objects defended by opponents). Players can join clans and take part in tournaments organized by the creators.

Technical aspects

Zula delivers average-quality 3D visuals; in terms of visual quality, the production is inferior to the dozens of similar ones representing the same genre.
