Mechanics
Our task in Zombie Match Defense is to defend scientists from hordes of living corpses. The game combines elements of tower defense strategy and match-3 puzzle games. There are five scientists and they are located on the left side of the screen. A path with several types of brains on it leads to each of them. These brains attract zombies. The whole game boils down to manipulating the brains in such a way that they can be combined into groups of three brains of the same type. Then the brains and the zombie eating them disappear from the board.
We get points by combining the brains - these points help us activate various special powers. For example, one of them allows feeding the zombie with a large dose of ice cream, thus freezing its brain and paralyzing it for several seconds. That zombie will block the path, giving us more time to secure the situation on the map.
The gameplay in Zombie Match Defense is determined by the player. There are no time limits and zombies move after we make a move. All this is presented in a humorous convention. However, the game is not easy and achieving good results requires a lot of effort.
