A real time strategy game from Gameloft studio, set in post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been decimated by a plague that turns infected into blood-thirsty zombies. We take control of group of survivors trying to not only survive for a few more days, but also to discover the truth behind the mysterious illness. Zombie Anarchy is based on two pillars.

Zombie Anarchy is a real-time strategy game developed by Gameloft and employing a free to play model with microtransactions.

Story

Anarchy Zombie takes place in the near future, where an outbreak of a zombie epidemic led to the collapse of human civilization. Only a handful of people survived, fighting for survival day after day.

The player takes command of a group of survivors with slightly greater ambitions. The priority for them is to live to the next day, but at the same time, they try to discover what led to the apocalypse. To this end, they set up a camp in the middle of a zombie-controlled city, hoping to find answers to their questions in the ruins.

Mechanics

Zombie Anarchy is a real-time strategy where fun revolves around collecting survivors. Each of them is a distinct character, with unique abilities and biography, that we are slowly getting to know during the game.

The game takes place on several planes. The first of these is the base management where we store resources and set up new structures. This place is regularly attacked by zombies and other players. That is why we are forced to build automated defensive structures, such as sentry towers, flamethrowers or electric defenses. We can also invade other users' bases to steal their stocks.

The second plane are the tactical missions. During these, we take command of a group of several heroes and leave the safe shelter at the base in order to perform tasks in a city overrun by living corpses. There are also special challenges implemented as shooting mini-games.

As befits a strategy game, there is also a progression system available to improve the skills of the survivors and to modernize buildings in the base.

Technical aspects

Zombie Anarchy offers an attractive, fully three-dimensional visuals, featuring cartoonish style, with light colors and slightly exaggerated character designs.
