Zipp's Cafe

Zipp's Cafe is an adventure game set in the World of Wilderness universe, created for the Chicken Police series. It's a slightly smaller project developed by The Wild Gentlemen.

Plot

Zipp's Cafe has us playing as the owner of the titular cafe in the city of Clawville, inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, between the mammal and insect districts. The plot consists of five storylines revolving around five different characters, with the player having to discover what connects them. It touches on such themes as sacrifice and change.

Mechanics

Zipp's Cafe is a first-person game. The player must talk to customers, establishing relationships and learning more about them. Since we run a cafe, that's not all. We must also prepare tea, coffee, various meals and wash the dishes in time for the next customers. All this is represented by various mini-games.

Technical aspects

Zipp's Cafe makes use of a colorful, cartoonish artstyle. It includes a special, toggleable filter in the style of noir movies. The soundtrack is atmospheric and fits the tone well.
