Zarvot is an isometric shooter focused on multiplayer entertainment. The production also has a single player feature mode. The producer of the title is an independent development studio Snowhydra Games. It is worth mentioning that it was the first serious project of the band.
Plot
Zarvot has a feature mode that has no direct impact on the multiplayer mode. Players take on the role of a small cube that's looking with its companion for the most appropriate birthday present for their common friend. The adventure of both characters is short, but full of charm inspired by games such as Thomas Was Alone.
Mechanics
Zarvot is a classic arcade shooter in which the action is presented in isometric view. Players control colorful cubes that fight in closed arenas using laser guns and high-speed guns, hiding behind covers and avoiding attacks from similar opponents. Interestingly, some elements of the boards, which are part of nine visually different worlds, are destroyed, and in addition to opponents controlled by other players, we also fight against the computer AI.
Game modes
The basic element of the game is the multiplayer mode, which is designed for up to four people. Starting the game we can choose the appropriate map, rules and length of the game. It's worth mentioning that the fiction campaign focuses on adventure elements, and its action takes place on unique boards, which you won't find in the multiplayer.
Technical aspects
Zarvot visual luminaire uses simple models of three-dimensional environmental models. However, the whole is enriched with various additional graphic effects, such as bloom or simulated depth of field, which make the game's looks significantly more appealing, especially during intense fire exchanges.
