Your Shape: Fitness Evolved Description
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved is a game that tries to move players to physical activity. It offers fitness training programs, to improve players’ condition and form. Thanks to use of Kinect motion controller the gameplay and its effects are comparable to training on a real gym. The program was created by Ubisoft company.
Your Shape: Fitness Evolved supports innovative Player Projection system, which, together with Kinect, is able to precisely scan the player’s body and transfer thus created model into the game’s virtual world. Player Projection also keeps you up to date with your progress and shows what corrections you should make to perform a given exercise better.
The developers gave players a complete workout tool. This means players can adjust exercises to their needs or select a virtual trainer with a pre-set fitness program. These are individually adjusted to players and their goals (e.g. losing a kilogram in two weeks). If your progress exceeds expectations, the program will dynamically adjust to that.
It is noteworthy that the game offers not only standard fitness exercises, but also martial arts or yoga. There is also something for those who have dreamt about learning boxing techniques. Similarly to Wii Fit, the game includes a set of various mini-games. Among these, there are dancing games or body balance challenges. Mini-games offer competitive multiplayer gameplay.
Your results are sent to a special Your Shape: Fitness Evolved website, which makes it possible to get hints from fitness trainers or discuss with other players.
