Nickelodeon Dance 2 Description
Nickelodeon Dance 2 is the second installment of a series of rhythmic and dance games for the youngest, created and developed by High Voltage studio with the support of 2K Games. Just like the original from 2010, the title has the official license of the American TV station Nickelodeon.
Mechanics
According to the proven gameplay scheme, players have the opportunity to dance and sing together with the heroes of their favorite TV shows. The game features more than 20 characters well known to viewers of Nickelodeon, like Dora, The Fresh Beat Band (Marina, Kiki, Twist, Shout), Bubble Guppies (Molly, Gil, Nonny, Deema), Team Umizoomi (Milli, Geo, Bot) and The Backyardigans (Tasha, Tyrone and Pablo).
Game modes
The developers from High Voltage, in cooperation with professional children's dance choreographers, have prepared 30 dance sequences, available in several variants. One of the novelties in the game is Freeze Dance mode, in which young players have to freeze in motion and stand in one place in the adopted pose. Parents can also sing along by following the text displayed at the bottom.
Technical aspects
Compared to the first installment of the series, Nickelodeon Dance 2 is characterized by more attractive visuals, especially the 3D textures of the character models and movement animations, which have gained in fluidity and naturalness.
