An action adventure game full of humour, similar in concept to Rustler from 2021. Yet Another Fantasy Title offers a top-down perspective and has us play as a rogue who killed the real hero and now must save the kingdom. The game offers an open world with many quests.

Gameplay

Yet Another Fantasy Title is an indie action-adventure game developed by the Polish studio Atomic Wolf. The game humorously uses pop culture patterns, not hesitating to parody works such as "The Lord of the Rings". In terms of humor and the mechanics used, it is largely similar to Rustler - both games have the same creators and publisher, Games Operators.

Plot

When the ruler of a fantasy land is swallowed by a dragon, the Chosen One comes to the rescue of his inhabitants - a knight in shining armor, about whom the old prophecies spoke. Bad luck makes him encounter a rogue during his journey, who is also the main protagonist of Yet Another Fantasy Title. The villain kills the supposed savior, not expecting that he will have to take over his role and fight the dragon.

Gameplay

In Yet Another Fantasy Title we visit an open world that we can freely explore, observing the action from a top-down perspective. We traverse the land on foot or by numerous means of transport, including horses and carts, as well as unicorns, wolves and mechanical pigs. Following the main storyline and numerous side quests, we visit, medieval-inspired cities, halfling villages and dwarf mines.

During the journey, we get to cross swords with knights and characters straight from myths (including trolls and skeletons). We can use fifteen types of weapons for melee and ranged combat. If the bow and sword prove to be insufficient, we can resort to magic. Thanks to it, we can push away rivals, send fiery projectiles, or freeze opponents.

In Yet Another Fantasy Title, there is no shortage of missions requiring discretion, in which our goal is to move in the shadows and avoid the guards. As befits a villain, we will break the law many times in the game, thus attracting the attention of the royal guard. This in turn can lead us to spectacular chases and clashes.
