Xenowerk Description
Xenowerk is a mobile science-fiction/horror shooter released on Android. It was developed by Pixelbite, the creators of Space Marshals.
The campaign takes place in an arctic research station. The isolation from the rest of the world made it a perfect spot for establishing a genetic laboratory. For years secret experiments were conducted there, eventually resulting in a disaster. The creatures bred by scientists got loose and tore everyone in the station to pieces. We assume the role of a member of a unit that was tasked with containing the situation, which obviously means the extermination of the aforementioned monsters.
The action is observed from a camera placed high above the protagonist’s head. Xenowerk is a classic shooter so for the most part of the gameplay consists of fighting hordes of enemies. In combat, we use a huge arsenal of various weapons that can be modified and enhanced to a large extent (just like armors).
Game controls utilize a virtual gamepad. It was designed to let us aim comfortably, regardless of the direction we are currently going. Xenowerk also offers a multiplayer mode that enables us to compete with our friends.
