A spin-off to the series of action games with RPG elements, originally developed by Polish studio Techland. As the owner of the title, Deep Silver chose the Swedish Fatshark studio as the developer for the spin-off. They are known for multiplayer-oriented games such as War of the Roses and War of the Viking. As a result, the players received a third-person perspective action-adventure game, the story of which takes place in between the first and the second part of the series and connects them together. The main hero – Cliff Calo – decides to trace the origins of the zombie virus outbreak and document them. Together with his friends, Cliff sets out on an expedition that soon turns out to be nothing more than a constant fight for survival, as any contact with the living dead ends up in death. You can use a wide arsenal of inventive weapons, but the gameplay emphasizes stealth elements and silent elimination of the enemies. The game features distinctive colorful graphics that utilize cel-shading technology.

The game takes place in a small city called Denforth, where the protagonist is sent in order to save the scientists that are there. In contrast to the original game, in Lifeline one doesn’t have to face the constant lack of supplies and weaponry – when the game starts, the player has plenty of both. Eventually, however, the hordes of zombies attacking the players hideout will cause the supplies to run out, forcing the player to look for alternative ways of survival. The developers added a bit of non-linearity to the game and greatly improved the communication system in the team.
Goat Simulator: GoatZ

June 5, 2016
The second large expansion to Goat Simulator – the crazy action game with a goat protagonist which parodies the wave of various virtual simulators. This time the developers from Coffee Stain Studios decided to ridicule sandbox survival zombie apocalypse games. The title of the DLC references to MMO game DayZ which for a long time remained in Steam Early Access. Goat Simulator: GoatZ is a purchasable expansion which requires the core version of the game to work. The title offers a large open world filled with various attractions and easter eggs. The goat protagonist must face aggressive zombies in which various weapons created with a simple crafting system helps him. The player must take care of the needs of the character – especially hunger which must be appeased every five minutes in order to remain alive. Goat Simulator: GoatZ is filled with bugs left there on purpose in order to parody cases of Early Access games.
