An arcade racing game in which we participate in Formula 1-like racing cars. The title contains a simple career mode and offers the possibility of freely setting the number of opponents and the number of laps. There are eight tracks on which we can race.

X-1 Super Boost is an uncomplicated, arcade racing game, for which the Dutch Team 6 Games studio is responsible, known mainly to fans of Flatout 3 and fans of uncomplicated FSR style games: French Street Racing or Pacific Liberation Force.

In the game we play the role of a racing car driver. We are fighting for victory on 8 different routes, such as the Spring Valley in the green fields or the Mount Scorpion between the hills. Over time, you can unlock two variations of each, increasing the number to 24. The title contains a simple career mode and offers the ability to freely set the number of opponents and the number of laps.

The gameplay in the X-1 Super Boost resembles other arcade racing games. Available cars offer a variety of technical parameters. Each of them has a afterburner, the use of which from time to time significantly increases the speed of the vehicle. Its use is facilitated by the above mentioned routes, abounding in gentle curves and bends.

Team 6 has a simplified collision and collision system with little impact on the course of the race. Their animations are limited to the beam of sparks that appears when they come into contact with other cars. In terms of audiovisual setting, the title presents itself on average. Three-dimensional graphics are full of colours, but all models on and off-track have been simplified in terms of the number of details. The sound and music layers are correct and well reflect the atmosphere of the races.
