Formula Challenge
Formula Challenge is an arcade car race produced by Aqua Pacific development studio.
developer: Aqua Pacific publisher: Oxygen Games
Formula Challenge, released on PC and PS2, was developed by Aqua Pacific.
Mechanics
In Formula Challenge, players can drive super-fast cars (modeled on Formula 1 cars) and take part in spectacular competitions held on 10 tracks located on several continents (including Europe and South America). The driving model used in the Formula Challenge diverges from realism in favor of more exciting, arcade controls. The action can be observed directly from the eyes of the driver (FPP) or from a camera shot behind the car (TPP).
Game modes
The creators prepared two game modes. "The "Quick Race" allows you to start a single race on any track of your choice. The "Championship" mode allows you to take part in the whole series of competitions aimed at selecting a virtual Champion.
Technical aspects
Formula Challenge is distinguished by intuitively simple control system, not very complex AI scripts and quite modest graphics. Many elements of the interface and solutions implemented in the game strongly resemble other productions of Aqua Pacific studio (such as GT Racers).
